API Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 June 2026
1. Acceptance
These terms govern access to the eurostablecoins.xyz developer API (the “API”), served under /api/v1. By subscribing, generating an API key, or sending requests to the API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the API.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
2. Subscription and API keys
Access to the /api/v1 data endpoints requires an active €49/month subscription and a personal API key. There is no free API access, and registration alone does not grant access. Subscribe and generate your key from your account page. Billing is handled by Stripe; if you cancel, access continues until the end of the paid period and then ends.
Your API key identifies you. Keep it confidential — do not publish it in client-side code, public repositories, or shared environments, and never send it in a URL. You are responsible for all activity under your key. If a key is exposed, regenerate it from your account page; the previous key is invalidated immediately.
We may issue, rate-limit, suspend, or revoke keys at our discretion — for example, to protect service stability or to address misuse of these terms.
3. Attribution
The data is published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). You may use, adapt, and share it — including commercially — provided you give clear attribution.
Attribution must name eurostablecoins.xyz as the source and, where the medium allows, link to https://www.eurostablecoins.xyz. A suggested string: “Data from eurostablecoins.xyz”.
4. Permitted use
You may query the API to build research, analytics, dashboards, portfolio tools, alerts, monitoring, articles, and similar products and content that incorporate or reference the data.
You may cache responses and should do so — the API is snapshot-based, not real-time, and caching reduces load for everyone.
5. Restrictions
You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute API access itself — for example, operating a proxy, mirror, or bulk-download service that re-serves the API to third parties, pooling or sharing a key across users, or systematically scraping the API as a substitute for a subscription. This restricts reselling the service; your rights to the data you retrieve remain governed by CC BY 4.0 (Section 3) — you may share and adapt it, including commercially, with attribution.
You may not present the data as your own, remove or obscure source attribution, or imply that eurostablecoins.xyz endorses your product.
You may not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or circumvent the API, its access controls, or its infrastructure; share, sell, or transfer your API key to third parties; or use the API in violation of applicable law.
6. Fair use
A per-key rate limit applies (120 requests/minute by default); exceeding it returns 429 with a Retry-After header. Please use the data responsibly: cache the underlying data in your client, and avoid unnecessary repeated polling. We reserve the right to adjust rate limits or per-key quotas, and to throttle or block traffic that threatens availability for others.
7. No warranty; not financial advice
The API and its data are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Data is aggregated from third-party and on-chain sources, is snapshot-based, and may contain errors, gaps, or delays.
eurostablecoins.xyz is a market reference, not a rating, recommendation, or advisory service. Nothing provided through the API is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for any decisions made using the data.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, eurostablecoins.xyz and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the API or its data.
9. Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the API, any endpoint, or any key at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes via /docs and these terms.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms or commercial/redistribution requests: see the contact links in the API index at /api/v1, or reach out via the channels listed on the site.
