Track EURm supply, chain coverage, protocol context, source coverage and public API data for the Mento Euro. EURm is a reserve-backed protocol-issued euro stablecoin on Celo: there is no central legal issuer, no EMI license and no MiCA EMT classification. EURm is backed by EUROC (1:1) within an over-collateralised Mento Reserve (volatile safety net: CELO, BTC, ETH); minting and redemption occur through the protocol’s liquidity pools at oracle rates. EURm does not appear on ESMA’s interim MiCA EMT White Paper register, and eurostablecoins.xyz does not promote it to any regulator-sourced status. Formerly known as cEUR (Celo EUR).

EURm is a reserve-backed protocol-issued euro stablecoin. There is no central legal issuer entity, no EMI license, and no off-chain redemption URL — the protocol is governed by MENTO token holders and operates entirely through smart contracts on the Celo blockchain. The Mento homepage [S1] and protocol documentation [S2] are the controlling materials for the protocol mechanics. eurostablecoins.xyz records these as protocol-document (Issuer-document fact) sources.
Because there is no legal issuing entity, several rows that exist on institutional EMT pages — issuer_legal_entity, regulator, redemption_url, auditor — are structurally absent for EURm. They are recorded on this page as No public source found rather than fabricated.
EURm was formerly known as cEUR (Celo EUR). The Mento protocol rebranded its stablecoins to the ‘m’ suffix naming convention (USDm, GBPm, EURm) as part of a broader repositioning. The underlying contract on Celo has not changed.
EURm is not in ESMA’s interim MiCA EMT White Paper register. As a protocol-issued asset without a central legal issuer, EURm does not fall under the MiCA EMT regime — which applies to entity-issued tokens. eurostablecoins.xyz does not promote EURm to any regulator-sourced status.
Shown for reference, not a legal opinion. Full context on the MiCA reference page.
The Mento protocol documentation [S2] describes EURm as backed by the Mento Reserve, which holds fiat-backed stablecoins including USDC, EUROC, and USDT as collateral. The reserve composition and stability parameters are set by MENTO governance token holders. The Mento Reserve dashboard [S3] provides an on-chain view of the reserve composition.
Minting and redemption occur through the protocol’s liquidity pools at oracle rates. Users swap supported collateral for EURm (or vice versa) via the Mento app or compatible interfaces on Celo. There is no off-chain redemption URL — the redemption_url row in the key-facts table is recorded as No public source found because the field is structurally absent for a protocol-mediated system.
EURm is deployed on Celo mainnet only (chainId 42220). Contract: 0xd8763cba276a3738e6de85b4b3bf5fded6d6ca73 (18 decimals, ERC-20, verified 2026-06-12) [S4].
The research registry noted that Solana, Polygon and Ethereum deployments may exist as bridged representations, but these were not verified at the time of addition. eurostablecoins.xyz currently tracks the Celo deployment only; public aggregators also list only the Celo deployment.
EURm peg data on eurostablecoins.xyz is derived from available Celo DEX pool prices where a market price source can be identified. EURm has no major CEX listing as of June 2026. Peg coverage status, with stale-data thresholds and known gaps, is on data coverage.
eurostablecoins.xyz exposes EURm data through the public v1 API. All endpoints return JSON, are CORS-enabled and are stable under /api/v1/*.
Supply, market share, chain distribution, historical series, holders, mint/burn and transfer-volume on this page are computed by eurostablecoins.xyz from on-chain snapshots on Celo. Values refresh on cron cadence and are not real-time tick-by-tick.
Protocol description, backing model and reserve view are drawn from the Mento homepage [S1], protocol documentation [S2], and Reserve dashboard [S3].

Protocol documents
Mento homepage and protocol documentation. Treated as protocol-document (Issuer-document fact) because there is no central issuer entity publishing binding legal statements — these are the controlling materials for protocol mechanics and reserve composition.
